The installer will create a mod directory that contains all the files for CQM. It will also give you a menu to decide which additional mods you want to install along with CQM. This will do it’s very best to find your Vampire directory and install the mod there. If you’ve ever installed any Bloodlines mods in the past, you first need to reinstall Vampire, making sure to delete any files left over by the previously installed mods. Failing to do so will still run the game, but without the CQM mod. CQM 4.0 requires that you launch the game using the shortcut it will create on your desktop.The CQM installer resolves these differences so there is no risk in installing mods using the installer.
Mods for Vampire are generally not cross-compatible so installing one mod on over another will most likely result in problems while playing the game. You will have to start a new game after installing the mod. It’s important that you follow this guide or else the game may become buggy and unstable.
